MOLDED PLASTICS

Our main focus is injection molding. For high volumes we have two combinations: 1.) Import tooling and US production; and 2.) offshore tooling and production. Each as an optimum application. For short to medium runs we offer capabilities usually reserved to high volume customers. Moreover we have some low cost tooling programs give you access to tooling up components you never thought possible. In addition to food grade, colors and ranging from commercial to engineering grades, some typical materials:

  • ABS
  • Acetal
  • Nylon
  • PEEK
  • Polycarbonate
  • Poly vinyl chloride (PVC)
  • Polypropylene
  • Polyethyelene (LD, HD, HDPE-PE)
  • Styrene/polystyerene
  • Urethane/polyurethane

MOLDED RUBBER

Compression, transfer and injection molding. For silicone LSR/LIM (liquid silicone rubber/liquid injection molding). Domestic and import options.  Urethane includes an additional option for open mold casing. Common materials include:

  • EPDM (ethylene propylene diene methylene)
  • Fluoroelastomer
  • Flurosilicone
  • Neoprene
  • Nitrile (aka Buna-N)
  • Polyurethaner/urethane
  • SBR
  • Silicone (inlcuding LSR/LIM molding)

CASTING

Casting for urethane and silicone is often a good short run method usually involving an open-cast gravity flow mold and engaging materials which, in the instance of urethane, have impressive tensile strength versus other molding methods. The adverse offset is that casting is best suited to larger components and while tooling is comparatively inexpensive, the unit price is relatively high. Typical production quantities seldom exceed 100 pcs.

EXTRUDED PLASTICS

Large material selection in both rigid and flexible plastics.

EXTRUDED RUBBER

Autoclave and continuous cure. Natural, synthetic rubber and silicone. Vulcanized splicing sometimes offers an alternative to custom molding.

DIE CUT RUBBER

Die cutting is an economical method utilizing both steel rule and hardened steel dies. We offer a wide selection of non-metallic materials including:

  • Cork
  • Felt
  • Plastics
  • Rubber

LATHE-CUT RUBBER

A tube is created either extruded or mandrel built which is then O.D. ground to a finish dimension and then cut on a high-speed, specially designed lathe. Bevel cutting also available. A popular alternative to custom molding. Usable for almost all natural and synthetic rubber compounds.

MACHINED PLASTICS

For short runs and parts of geometry not suitable for custom molding, machined plastics may be a cost effective answer to your requirement. We can help you make that determination.

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

We are partnered with several designers who will collaborate with you to turn your idea into working engineerting CAD drawings usable for both prototyping and production.

PROTOTYPING

Plastics: 3-D printing, sterolithography, prototype injection molding.

Rubber: Open casting (polyurethane), prototype compression/transfer/injection molding.
